Well, I agree with Rey and disapprove of this method of doing homework!

IIRC, her dad's been a touchy subject every time he's been brought up. I can't help but think Rey might be right - the little characterization Anthony's had doesn't really paint him as a good father figure. Rey and Eglamore are much better examples of that for her, resent their encroachment though she may.

I'm more worried that she's going to get mad enough to spill the beans.

Well, this is a happy story arc.

All this distorted perspective is making me dizzy.

I think it looks neat. It seems to make me think of how she's seeing everything around her, distorted through her tears. Or something. I like the stylistic choice though.

Distorted panels are a good way of reflecting an emotional state. Annie's just essentially had the world ripped out from under her.

WELP. I think someone is going to get a bit more than detention.

I should hope so.

Is she...shooting fire at the guy?

I'm going to subtitle this chapter as "Annie is having a bad day."

I'm amazed at the fact that we're actually getting some straight answers out of Coyote for once.

I was amazed in that one panel a few strips back where she actually got Coyote to shut up for five seconds.

Something tells me this will not end well. Possibly up to and including Rey and/or Kat coming/trying to come after her.

I don't think Rey would. The whole Court not wanting him off of Court grounds thing and all. Kat, likely. Cue the hovercraft.
