Shea's is actually going to show signs of constantly being painted over - she lives on a military installation, doodling on the walls just isn't going to be tolerated so Father/Aunt keeps painting over it when she does. Though there might be a few there that they hadn't gotten to yet. I figure for her it would be fairly patriotic stuff - stars, flags, etc. - and the occasional bullseye and doodled car.

Evan on the other hand lives in a low-rent apartment ;P His walls are going to be covered in a full-length symphony he doesn't know he's written :D

I'm not too sure what exactly will be on her walls, but Joan's will probably be a huge artistic rendition of "holy shit fire is scary."
Believing that Joan is terrified of fire and burning is why he keeps her out of the kitchen while he's cooking and refuses to let her make her own meals.

I have no idea what specifically will be on Eris' walls, but it'll likely be related to some Sis issues - either Sis encouraging unhealthy emotional repression or just that Eris is girlier than she wants to let on.

Nah. So he's in a world full of frogs. When Eris gets in she's in a world full of lizards, some of them faceless. I think the group will kind of be "meh frogs whatever" and just think they're another random variable of the landscape until Lygara explains what they're for.

That, and I don't think Matt the type to grab a frog and say "wonder what happens if I combine this with something". Also even if Eris were to deploy the frog cloning equipment, the Walkthrough she's using likely wouldn't expound on it, and I doubt Matt would be able, willing, or patient enough to figure out what to do with it on his own.

...so what does the recent update mean for Shep? Someone's obviously gotta have either the MEOW code or the cue ball..and what are we combining it with?

Shep, from what we've determined of his personality, appears to be a much more benevolent Guardian than Scratch, if no less manipulative. So I would say that instead of being assembled by Dersian agents as Scratch and Beq were, Shep was put together - possibly accidentally - by a more benign source. Our three bumbling Exiles maybe? We certainly haven't given them a whole lot to do. Or heck, Evan could do it during his ectobiology session and have no idea what in the heck just happened until Eris explains what Lygara told her about First Guardians; he would certainly be the type to see a screen saying "enter code" and a book lying around with "hey, this has a four-letter code in it, wonder if it's the password" and trying it. And then fleeing in panic from the lightning and destruction that appears to be commonplace with First Guardian creation.

As for the code, I actually think it might be cool to see it featured in ALL the kids' graffiti. Shea's patriotic doodles, despite constantly being painted over and redrawn, always have the same four-letter caption. Evan's symphony features a repeating refrain of the same four notes before going back to the song in whole. And the others have similar. Thoughts?

I like the idea of one of the exiles before being exiled pulling a DeeDee. (ooh, what does this button do?) Or it could work for Evan, too. He does that first and figures it must be a demo since he has no idea what Shep looks like.

At that, I have no idea. If we're going with my concept art for him, he's relatively human-looking (unlike Scratch's cueball head) just devoid of features like any other First Guardian. Heck, he could easily be simply a combined clone of all six of the kids plus the MEOW/HONK/ABCD code.

Of course, we can always make him looking more "unusual" as well.

...yeah, my brainpower has been entirely sapped by my students. Every kid can contribute to the code. IF I COULD READ I WOULD KNOW THESE THINGS.
